everybody dreams sometimes how his life would look like if he had made other choices. however sometimes things turn out for the worst as can be seen in Shrek 4.
In a star trek TNG episode Tapistry Jean Luc Picard gets the chance from Q to make some changes to but it affects his whole life, like a tread that gets pulled out of a tapistry ruins the whole thing
